- Director / Boys and Men’s Program, City Ballet School (San Francisco)
Yeu-Jung Lee was one of my favorite partners and artists at the Kirov Academy. I had the pleasure to later watch her become a wonderfully detailed teacher who was truly attentive to both her students artistic and technical training. She truly embodies the beautiful Vaganova legacy of artistry from the heart, beautiful technique, and a strong spirit.
- Artistic Director / Ballet Arts Academy at the Old Waldorf School
Mme. Lee ‘s one of my first teachers and through her strong, caring and knowledgeable guidance I learned so much about ballet technique and artistry. Without the years of Mme. Lee’s instruction, I would not be the same dancer that I am today, and for this I am grateful that I had the opportunity to learn from her.
- Principal Dancer at Columbia Classical Ballet
Mme. Lee is not only a fantastic teacher, but also a superb mentor and guide. Her dedication and faith in her students is unparalleled. She taught me not only how to dance but how to work, and this has carried me further than I'd ever imagined. I'm now a student with the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow and I owe this success, amongst the many others, to Mme. Lee’s extensive knowledge in the art of Russian Ballet.
- Bolshoi Ballet Academy
I took her classes when I was 15 years old at Sunwha Arts School. Her training was based on Vaganova Method, which was very detailed and taught dancers how to use their upper body elegantly while maintaining the torso properly. She also dedicated time to each student, teaching them exactly what they needed to become stronger dancers. With her strong and systematic classes, I was able to progress toward my professional dance career.

- Soloist, Universal Ballet
I still remember her amazing classes very clearly! It was the most important time to improve my ballet techniques, at age 15. Through her training, I learned how to develop and use each muscle properly. I was so lucky to meet her at a time that was pivotal to becoming a professional dancer.
- Member of the corps de ballet, Houston Ballet
Through her very intense class, I was able to control my core and torso. She taught me how to perform in balancing with power and elegance at the same time.
- Member of the corps de ballet, American Ballet Theater
My daughter studied under Yeu-Jung Lee when she was a teacher at the Kirov Academy in Washington, DC. It was from Yeu-Jung Lee that my daughter received a strong solid foundation in classical ballet that has set my daughter apart from other dancers. Yeu-Jung Lee was always available to discuss my daughter's progress with me and it is because of her that my daughter is the ballet dancer that she is today. Yeu-Jung Lee is a teacher who cares about her students and remains their teacher, mentor, and friend years later. She teaches from her vast knowledge of the Vaganova method and with much love from her heart. My daughter looked forward to every class and loved to work hard as Yeu-Jung Lee inspired her to excel. Yeu-Jung Lee is truly a gift to any student who studies under her!
