Pre-Ballet 1 is designed for young dancers ages five to six. This program is structured to introduce floor ballet as well as the fundamentals of classical ballet positions, which are essential to the development of proper posture. The 45 minute class focuses on floor exercises, stretching, balance, socialization, introduction to creative movement and spatial awareness. The program will also offer a fun, inventive introduction to the basics of ballet for building confidence and musicality.

Pre-Ballet 2 introduces basic barre and center exercises while keeping things fun in an enjoyable environment. The classes consist of learning the basic positions of the arms and feet, along with movements of classical ballet training. Exercises become age-appropriately challenging, requiring more discipline and awareness of direction. This program encourages development of a wider range of motion. The basic exercises done over time will serve as strong preparation for the next level.

Ballet 1 introduces the entry level of the Vaganova syllabus, teaching the young dancers age- appropriate exercises. During the class, the student will master the core foundation, instilling correct alignment from the fingertips all the way to the ends of your toes. A wider range of movement explored will provide the student with self-control of the body so that he/she can be sufficiently prepared to elegantly perform more sophisticated movements.

Classes will move at a faster pace, building upon the foundation that had been developed in the previous level. More complicated exercises will be introduced, such as body direction, various jumps, and basic turns. The class will also emphasize the further development of strength in the ankles and feet on demi-pointe for preparation onto pointe work. Pointe work will be introduced at the discretion of the teacher.

As the entry level of pre-professional classical ballet training, the Junior Advanced class focuses on more challenging exercises, including adagio, small/big jumps, and advanced turns. Movements will become increasingly complicated and require muscular strength, endurance, and discipline. Classes in this level will provide the student with a strong, solid, technical foundation for the demands of classical ballet.

Requires 5 days per week
The Half-Day Professional program is for dancers who have professional career aspirations in dance. Working upon what had been learned in previous levels; dancers will be able to focus upon displaying artistic expression and their inner emotions with their movement. In addition to that, dancers will develop a level of endurance that will be vital upon entry into a professional company.
